Civil Engineering Graduate Position

About the Role:
AECOM is seeking a talented Civil Engineering Graduate to join our team in Markham, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting engineering design, creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts engineering design and analysis of rural and urban conveyance systems, including water transmission and distribution systems, waste water collection systems, and storm sewer collection systems.
- Collects and analyzes data, using computer software to solve basic engineering problems.
- Performs work in accordance with budget and schedule, working under the direction of the project manager.
- Reviews project drawings and specifications, observes, inspects, and records work on-site to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Prepares daily and weekly inspection reports, conducts field measurements to establish quantities, and performs construction survey layout and as-built record survey.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in MS Office 365, CADD Software, GIS platforms, and hydraulic modeling software, such as InfoWorks ICM, WaterCAD, and other platforms.
