General Manager Job Description

Fun Land, a leading provider of entertainment and hospitality services, is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our local business unit. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for formulating strategic plans, managing staff, and enforcing policies to ensure the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through effective customer service and quality control
  • Partner with the Fun Land HR/Recruiting/Training team to maintain staffing levels and handle staff-related matters
  • Embed and utilize business intelligence tools to inform decision-making
  • Handle customer complaints, issues, or questions as needed
  • Be on-call for special projects or holidays
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • At least five years of management experience in the amusement and hospitality industry
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver's license required
