Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Talent Coordinator to join our team As a Talent Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the recruitment and selection process. This includes coordinating job postings, regional job fairs, collection and screening of resumes, arrangement of venues for interviews, participation in interviews, reference checks, and letters of offer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies in collaboration with Community Engagement Managers to acquire new talent.
  • Analyze organizational needs to anticipate hiring requirements and maintain a pulse on recruitment trends.
  • Source and develop qualified candidates through various channels, including employment centers, employment agencies, newcomer centers, adult schools, colleges, and universities, as well as social media platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Promote diversity and equity by identifying outreach opportunities in the community and sharing relevant information with management.
  • Prepare HR dashboards and ad-hoc reports, providing relevant metrics to management to inform workforce decisions.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future needs and facilitate meetings to discuss recruitment strategy.
  • Manage Canada Summer Jobs funding applications, communications with MP's and Service Canada Program Officers, and ensure compliance documents are collected.
  • Recruit and onboard volunteer and placement students.

Requirements

  • University degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a recruitment capacity.
