Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our International Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing tax services to our clients, including our growing public company division
  • Developing a sound understanding of taxation concepts and applying your knowledge to situations affecting our clients
  • Proposing practical and innovative tax solutions to clients and drawing relevant conclusions
  • Engaging in tax consulting activities, including advising on international expansion and tax controversy matters
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a candidate who demonstrates BDO's core values: Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration. You should have a strong understanding of Canadian and International Tax, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a team environment and be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Your Qualifications

We're looking for a candidate with a Canadian CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax. You should have at least 5 years of experience in the public accounting industry specializing in Tax. You should also have a solid understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate tax compliance, and planning.
