Clinical Services Director
At PHSA, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Services Director to lead our Forensic Psychiatric Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the strategic planning process and coordinating operational planning across the assigned clinical program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Provincial Executive Director to integrate specific goals and objectives into the activities of the clinical services.
- Oversee and coordinate on-going program team planning, development, evaluation, and quality improvement activities.
- Manage service area operations by coordinating and establishing priorities, assessing and monitoring staffing requirements and supplies.
- Provide leadership to staff through collaborative coaching, guiding, and modeling key behaviors and strategies.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in nursing or a related health profession from an accredited University.
- A minimum of seven years recent related clinical experience, including two years working in a managerial/leadership capacity in a clinical setting.
- Current practicing registration with a relevant professional association.
- Solid clinical knowledge of the designated patient population(s).
- Strong skills in clinical and operations management.
- Innovative leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and to promote teamwork.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with quality assurance processes, operational planning, and program development.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills.
- Commitment to developing knowledge and understanding of legislative obligations and provincial commitments found in the foundational documents.
