CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support key initiatives. This role will involve working closely with the Manager of Finance to prepare and reconcile financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience with financial software such as D365.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and reconcile financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS.
- Work with technical accounting to ensure alignment with existing policies.
- Reconciliations and variance reporting.
- Project reporting.
- Assist with the SR& ED claim.
- Assist with internal and external audit.
- Prepare complex journal entries and approve/post entries prepared by others.
Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a designated Senior Financial Analyst (CPA or equivalent), with at least 5 years of full cycle accounting experience. You should be comfortable working in a complex and structured environment.
Desired skills and experience include:
- Experience assisting with D365 and strong advanced EXCEL skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Superior communication skills.
- A keen eye for process improvement.
