Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Danielle Elias. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain physical health
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to support clients' dietary needs
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Requirements:
  • Geriatric Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and patience are essential for this role
Working Conditions:
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (not a condition of employment)
