Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements for the Executive Committee and Senior Accounting Team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports for annual audits and external parties, showcasing our company's financial health.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create annual budgets and participate in the review process, driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Assist with treasury management and related compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Support costing initiatives, analyzing data to optimize financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Superior mathematical, analytical, and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and related legislative requirements, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • High degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in financial software a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional accounting designation or working towards it considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in an accounting environment, with a strong understanding of our company's financial operations.
