Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hensall Co-op Full time

Hensall Co-op is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Associate. This is a full-time position that will work between our Exeter facility and a home office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements for the Executive Committee and Senior Accounting Team.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial reports for annual audits and external parties.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create annual budgets and assist with the review process.
  • Support treasury and compliance initiatives.
  • Contribute to costing initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and related legislative requirements.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional Accounting Designation or working towards.
  • Previous experience in an accounting environment.
