About the RoleThe Compassionate Care Specialist is a vital member of our team, responsible for delivering personalized support to our residents in their daily lives.
We are seeking an individual who shares our commitment to providing warm and compassionate care, with a focus on building meaningful relationships with our residents.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Monitor and document resident vitals, weights, behavior, and mobility, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.
- Educate residents on healthy lifestyle choices and provide guidance on maintaining their well-being.
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and transfers, ensuring a smooth transition for our residents.
- Diploma in Personal Support Work or related field, plus six months of experience in geriatric care.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Able to pass Vulnerable Sector Check.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
