About the Opportunity

AgeCare is seeking a visionary Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR strategies and drive organizational excellence.

This role provides the authority, autonomy, and responsibility to foster a strong partnership with operations, ensuring seamless execution of organizational goals.

You will shape and implement HR policies, develop strategic initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent, and oversee workforce planning and development.

In addition, you will drive employee engagement through surveys, feedback analysis, and action plans, and ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regional HR standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership & HR Operations
    • Lead and collaborate with the HR team to foster a strong partnership with operations, ensuring seamless execution of organizational goals.
    • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with AgeCare's goals to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
    • Lead the creation, implementation, and communication of HR policies, ensuring legal and quality compliance.
  2. Employee Engagement & Culture
    • Drive employee engagement through surveys, feedback analysis, and action plans.
  3. Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regional HR standards.
    • Lead risk management efforts, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
What You Bring
  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  2. Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in HR, with a proven track record in leadership, strategy development, and change management.

Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
