About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Technician to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment Toronto. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing trouble shooting, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Communicate effectively with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure efficient job completion
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to all safety policies and regulations
Requirements
  • Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician (310T) or equivalent certification
  • 5+ years' experience as a Licensed Mechanic, preferably in a heavy equipment setting
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as preventative maintenance practices
