Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Chief Academic Officer to lead our academic operations in British Columbia. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our academic strategy in BC, focusing on faculty excellence, student experience, and program growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Building a high-performing team of academic leaders
- Ensuring successful regulatory reviews of proposed and existing programs
- Developing a cohesive campus culture with a strong focus on student service
- Overseeing academic program development and day-to-day academic operations
- Engaging effectively with external stakeholders, including alumni, government, professional accrediting bodies, employers, and the local community
- Senior management experience in academia, including experience with academic program development and management
- Strong collaborative skills and academic business acumen
- Extensive knowledge and experience in teaching and learning strategies, course and program development, and student services
- Experience in people leadership, including team collaboration and performance management
- Experience working in dynamic settings with multiple transformation initiatives
- Advanced verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and networking skills
We offer a competitive salary of CAD $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
