Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Toromont Cat. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, utilizing computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including testing repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Work Environment

As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.

Requirements
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
