Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Toromont Cat. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, and adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform other routine maintenance

Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job, and you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Or equivalent experience
