We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations at BLONDIES PIZZA.

Job Description

The Head Chef will be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and hold a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff to achieve high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Requirements

Compensation and Benefits
