Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at Brant Community Healthcare System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
About the Role:- Provide evidence-based, comprehensive, safe, effective, and ethical nursing care to patients in need of emergency services.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current emergency nursing experience is an asset.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Certification (within 6 months of employment).
- Triage Certification (eCTAS) (completed after 24 months of Emergency experience).
- Trauma Nursing Core Competency (TNCC).
- Triage certificate in adult and paediatric populations.
- Member of RNAO.
- Self-directed individual with the ability to work both independently and in partnership with members of the interprofessional team.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and personal development in nursing.
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to be a coach, teacher, and mentor to colleagues and students.
