About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel as part of your daily duties.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, willing to relocate, hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player.
