Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
The Registered Practical Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing safe and effective nursing care to patients. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves assisting the Registered Nurse with patient assessment and development of the patient care plan, collecting and recording patient information, and participating in quality assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient assessment and development of patient care plans
- Collect and record patient information
- Participate in quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices
- Experience in related clinical practice area (preferred)
- Ability to problem solve and work independently and as a member of the team
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in French language (an asset)
Education and Certification:
- Graduate of an approved Registered Practical Nurse Program
- Current certificate of Registration issued through the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Palliative Care Level I (preferred)
