We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Design the 8 Studio Inc. as a key member of our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Willing to travel
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of locations, including renovation, commercial, and residential sites. The work site environment may include heights, noise, and dust.
