Dedicated Healthcare Professional Wanted for Parkland Ancaster

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Parkland Ancaster in Ancaster, Ontario.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including assessing their needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatments. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of residents' needs and develop, revise, and implement care profiles
- Order, administer, and store medications and treatments in compliance with facility, pharmacy, and College of Nurses standards
- Adept the RHRA legislation and enforce compliance mandates under the direction of the Director of Care
- Manage department operations in absence of Supervisor or Manager
- Direct, assign, and evaluate work of personal support attendants
- Document and investigate resident/staff incidents and complaints
- Diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Passion for working with seniors and experience in seniors' living or long-term care environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, all shifts inclusive of days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Approximate hourly wage: $29.00-$30.75
