We are seeking a Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team. As a trainee, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling, investigating, and managing claims. This includes reviewing coverages, limitations, warranties, and requirements, ensuring appropriate coverage is in place, and following guidelines and instructions.

You will also be required to prepare documents and mandatory forms as needed, manage a case load of claim matters in compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), manage reserves, payments, and financials, and provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**

  • Action/results-oriented with the ability to take initiative
  • Effective analytical skills including identification of cause and effect dynamics
  • High attention to detail and service-oriented
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them
  • Team player who can work autonomously
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Products are an asset)

**Benefits**

Our company offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including a flex-benefit plan that allows you to customize the coverage that is right for you with options for taxable and non-taxable health care spending.
