Project Coordinator Opportunity at Black & McDonald
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative professional to join our innovative team in a Project Coordinator role.
The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering modification projects of various sizes and complexities, reporting to the Program Manager. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and controlling project activities to ensure timely completion within budget and specifications under the direction of the Project Manager and Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute projects in accordance with Corporate Policy and industry best practices
- Assist in budget preparation and project organization, ensuring effective resource allocation
- Lead project meetings and track progress, maintaining open communication with stakeholders
- Maintain client relations and coordinate project activities, ensuring seamless project delivery
- Communicate ideas for process improvement, driving continuous growth and development
Competency Requirements
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer Focus and relationship-building expertise
- Problem Solving and Innovation, with a focus on creative solutions
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, Certificate, or related qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Project Coordination role, preferably in a similar industry or sector
- Experience with medium-risk projects is advantageous, with a focus on project management and delivery
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of project management, engineering, and construction processes, with a focus on industry best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office Suite, with a focus on project planning and execution
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility
- Client Security Clearance required, with a focus on confidentiality and discretion
