Salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing a research project that aligns with the strategic objectives of the lab, with input from the Principal Investigator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a research project that aligns with the strategic objectives of the lab
- Train and supervise students who will have their own research projects
- Work with scientific collaborators to execute the project
- Perform sophisticated analysis of single cell sequencing datasets
- Write and review manuscripts for publication
- Present at seminars and conferences
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a PhD in a relevant field and have experience in cell and molecular biology, as well as computational analysis in R and bash. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, along with a high degree of independence and flexibility to thrive in a rapidly evolving research environment are also essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills to work well with collaborators, and advanced/expert skills in tissue culture, molecular cloning, lentiviral transduction, CRISPR.
