We are seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Laboratory Technician to join our team at Englobe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting asphalt laboratory testing to ensure compliance with current NBDTI requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct asphalt laboratory testing using the Marshall Method and Superpave Method in both central and mobile lab environments.
- Familiarize yourself with current NBDTI End Result Specification (ERS) Asphalt specifications and propose mix changes or adjustments as needed.
- Receive and record all field samples for testing and/or holding.
- Enter data using basic software and communicate results effectively with clients and Englobe supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of field test results for review and subsequent submissions.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
- Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar engineering field.
- CCIL certification considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel throughout the Maritimes as required.
