Research Services Coordinator

Purpose:
To provide centralized coordination of operational and administrative functions for the Division of Vice-President Research & Innovation. This position supports the Senior Executive Officer on HR, finance, facilities and space, events and communications, and general administrative activities to ensure all university procedures and processes are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate meetings, interviews, and events with faculty members, staff, senior leadership, and external partners.
Manage situations with tact and diplomacy, and resolve conflicts effectively.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Provide administrative support for research-related activities, including finance, HR, and facilities.

Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma in business or a related field.
Experience in business writing and professional communications.
Knowledge of university governance structure, research administration processes, and operational policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
