Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at SSAB Swedish Steel Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and driving sales growth through proactive lead generation and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and product advice to customers, including preparing quotations and sales orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, CAD, Shipping, and Finance, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and company developments to provide expert knowledge and insights to customers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2-4+ years of experience in sales or a related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline from an accredited College or University.
- 5-8+ years of experience in sales, customer support, or a related field.
- Experience in the steel industry, with knowledge of CAD and nesting software.
