Bar Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at AMI TEA SAINT JOHN. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
- Clean bar area and wash glassware.
- Operate cash register and record and balance beverage sales.
- Store beverage and food products and order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Prepare Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset.
- Or equivalent experience.
Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability:- Client focus.
- Organized.
- Team player.
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
