Technical Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves designing, building, testing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure and operations in accordance with security policies and guidelines. You will collaborate with our global IT team and manage key projects to support the Canadian business.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

  • Systems Design and Development Develops, builds, and tests solutions for infrastructure systems to meet business requirements and functional specifications. Installs, configures, and tests client technology systems.
  • Vendor Management Monitors services provided by vendors to ensure service levels meet requirements. Consistently working with vendors to manage ongoing work and resolve problems.
  • Business and Technical Requirements Ensures completion of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of system business solutions. Assists in determining infrastructure systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Work Planning Participates in short- and long-term project planning efforts with team members, clients, and other IT groups. Develops work plan timelines and manages workflows to meet project timeframes.

Were Looking for Someone With

  • Post-Secondary education in Programming/Systems, IT Infrastructure, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
  • Configuring and supporting of the following: Network Switches, Servers, Wireless Controllers, VM Ware, Active Directory, Meeting Room equipment, Warehouse RF equipment PC, servers, mobile devices, tablets, printers, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows/Windows Server, IT Security.
  • Experience supporting complex hardware and servers.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to engage in & manage multiple projects in a fast-paced changing environment.
