About the Role

Encore Market Engagement is seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Representative to join our team, representing General Mills and Blue Buffalo in the Quebec City territory. This part-time role will involve identifying business development opportunities to drive sales within the assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent General Mills and Blue Buffalo in a professional manner by providing excellent service to retail customers.
  2. Work with the Manager to set territory goals based on company objectives and develop strategies to meet or exceed these targets.
  3. Develop customer relationships to become a trusted advisor, introducing new products and promotional events into the market.
  4. Utilize sales tools to identify opportunities and gaps, determining an action plan to drive sales, improve distribution, recognize underperforming categories, and increase overall profitability in the territory.
  5. Recognize and utilize regional sales trends to maximize in-store performance, providing feedback and insight on retail conditions and/or issues as encountered.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPG.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual (French/English).
  • Amazing relationship-building skills.
  • Strong selling skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence/lead change.
  • Strong personal drive, positive attitude, and excellent problem-solving skills.
