Director of Aviation Security

Securiguard Services Ltd. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Aviation Security operations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality security services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators for service delivery, ensuring alignment with company standards
  • Collaborate with senior management and branch/regional managers to align YVR Branch plans with the overall corporate strategy
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of new business opportunities and joint ventures, ensuring alignment with Securiguard's vision and values
  • Provide leadership and guidance to regional branch managers, ensuring alignment and information flow within the management team
  • Develop and maintain key account relationships, organizing regular reviews to ensure client satisfaction
  • Pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals, aiming to achieve revenue and profitability goals
Requirements:
  • University degree, college diploma, or relevant experience in airport operations, personnel management, business management, human resources, and/or security
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in an operational setting of a service business, with success in business development, key account management, or sales
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic/business planning, operations management, people leadership, and business development
  • Financial acumen to analyze results, assess metrics, and drive performance
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, MS Office, MS Project, Outlook, Excel, and Word
