Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the aviation security operations at Vancouver International Airport. As Director of Aviation Security, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing top-notch security services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance security operations and business growth
  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators for service delivery
  • Collaborate with senior management to align branch plans with corporate strategy
  • Facilitate new business opportunities and joint ventures
  • Ensure all services meet quality assurance standards
  • Address operational issues and provide problem-solving resources
  • Maintain oversight of equipment inventory management and administration
  • Provide regular performance feedback and support professional growth
Requirements
  • University degree or relevant experience in airport operations, personnel management, business management, human resources, and/or security
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in an operational setting of a service business
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic/business planning, operations management, people leadership, and business development
  • Financial acumen to analyze results and drive performance
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, MS Office, MS Project, Outlook, Excel, and Word
