Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  • Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers
  • Consult with suppliers
  • Determine contract terms and conditions
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties
  • Establish delivery schedules
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 hours per week
