About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Movati Athletic. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of our clubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with external contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff and members.

Requirements

  • Community College Certificate as a Class II Building Environmental Systems Operator or equivalent.
  • Three years of continuous experience in operation and maintenance of building systems.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Systems, and BAS.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and prior knowledge of pool operations preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
