Job Description
  • This position involves working as an external client-facing professional with our Management Consulting Team.
  • As a Project Manager within the Management Consulting Team, you will support asset, organizational, financial, infrastructure funding, economic, and technology consulting services to local governments and utilities in North America.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Work dynamically with project teams to identify best-fit solutions to complex business, strategic, infrastructure, and operational issues involving elevated risk.
  2. Lead project teams in interactive meetings with clients to identify and analyze issues affecting their organizations and key stakeholders.
  3. Serve as an independent reviewer of analysis prepared by peers or junior staff to ensure technical accuracy and appropriateness of methods and tools being utilized, as well as solutions being evaluated.
  4. In many cases, serve as the project manager for client engagements, ensuring delivery of high-quality services on time and within budget.
  5. Meet performance goals and objectives assigned, respecting client-specific demands, stated delivery milestones, quality standards, project management framework, mentoring of junior staff, and required training activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, finance, economics, statistics, data science, engineering, accounting, or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years of total post-undergraduate working experience (preferably 10+ years) in management consulting, economics, pricing, infrastructure funding, financial analysis, and/or working for local government agencies in these areas.
  • Knowledge of and experience with accounting statements, pricing, risk, financial planning, and performance metrics/tracking.
  • Direct work experience/history with local government agencies and financial statements.
  • Elements of project management experience, including preparing and managing project scope, schedule, team activities, communication, and deliverables.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
