Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this 8-month coop student position with Alberta Health Services offers a unique opportunity for a Data Analyst to contribute to the Supply Chain Management functions and initiatives.

We are seeking an exceptional student to join our team as a Data Analyst - Project Assistant. This role will provide a valuable learning experience and allow you to develop your skills in data analysis, project management, and supply chain operations.

In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing contracting, purchasing, and supply chain data, including transaction costing and their downstream financial impact. You will also have the opportunity to process mapping and assist in evaluating processes to identify opportunities to improve and streamline CPSM's processes and procedures.

This role requires excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and experience with Oracle, SAP, or other procurement information systems is an asset.

The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a post-secondary cooperative education program and have a strong academic record. They will also possess a professional demeanor and be able to relate effectively to various levels of the organization.
