Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Officer to join our team at Manjit S Gauba Professional Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies and administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop policies and procedures to support business development initiatives
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
  • Plan and implement development projects to stimulate economic growth
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
  • Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve strategic objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
