Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Proplus Contracting. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by removing old flooring, cleaning, and repairing any damage.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure and cut flooring materials to the correct size and shape for installation.
  • Install Flooring: Install flooring materials, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Repair and Maintain Flooring: Repair and maintain existing flooring, including repairing damaged areas and replacing worn-out flooring.
  • Estimate and Order Materials: Estimate the quantity of materials needed for each job and order them from suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in flooring installation and maintenance.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
