CAREER COORDINATORS is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. You will also be responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team, evaluating daily operations, and planning and controlling budget and expenditures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team

  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Manage contracts
  • Manage training and development strategies
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Advise senior management
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Conduct research
  • Perform data entry
  • Provide customer service
  • Maintain and manage digital database
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently
