Liquor Store Manager

Everest Liquor Discounter Dunmore Road Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquor store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 35 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
Our liquor store operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular standing for extended periods.
