About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Summer Breeze Dental. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with various tasks, including preparing instruments and materials, taking X-rays, and recording patient information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies, participating in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills.
Requirements
  • Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) Certification
  • Membership in the Canadian Dental Assistants Association
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board
  • Proficiency in MS Windows
