Job Title: Swim Class Assistant

About the Job:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Swim Class Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced instructors to provide high-quality swim lessons to participants of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist instructors with the instruction of various swim classes by organizing equipment, performing demonstrations of skills and/or strokes, and providing feedback to students.
  • Work according to established standards and protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the pool area, including cleaning and taking water readings.
  • Participate in special events and programs, such as water safety initiatives and aquatic competitions.
  • Collaborate with the aquatics team to provide exceptional customer service at the customer service counter.

Requirements:

  • A minimum age of 15 years old.
  • Current enrollment in a secondary education institution or equivalent.
  • A valid LSS Bronze Cross certificate.
  • Standard First Aid with CPR Level C certification.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop your skills in swimming instruction.
