About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Sunrise Kitchens. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate access and use of computer networks
- Install software
- Load printer with paper and forms
- Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Implement data, software and hardware security procedures
- Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment:
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Hours: 30 hours per week
