We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Specialist to join our team at A1 APPAREL & PROMOTIONS. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, providing top-notch technical support to our users, and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our digital assets.

About the Role

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. Additionally, they will be expected to provide problem-solving services to network users, implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, perform routine network start-up and close-down operations, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working as a Network Support Technician. You should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, accurate judgement, and strong organisational abilities. Furthermore, you must be proficient in setting up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implementing network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimising server performance.
