Job Description for Network Infrastructure Specialist at Sunrise Kitchens

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Sunrise Kitchens. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks to ensure seamless communication among team members.
  • Install software and hardware upgrades to enhance network performance and efficiency.
  • Load printer with paper and forms as needed to support printing requirements.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software to ensure reliable online presence.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to meet business needs.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect company assets from cyber threats.
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintaining control records for audit purposes.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity in case of emergencies.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring secure and stable online connectivity.

The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies. You will work 30 hours per week in a permanent position, with English as the primary language of communication.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience, plus additional benefits to support your career growth and well-being.
