About Our Head Chef Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join Li's Stewed Lamb. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring that our menu meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  2. Develop and implement new cooking techniques and train our staff on the latest equipment to enhance our menu offerings.
  3. Collaborate with our culinary team to create new recipes and menus that showcase our kitchen's expertise.
  4. Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  5. Plan and execute menus that meet our quality standards and ensure that our dishes are consistently presented to the highest level.
  6. Ensure that our kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary role.
  • Cook Trade Certification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
