About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Director and Team Lead to join our team at MAYDA RESTAURANTS LTD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, ensuring seamless execution of menus and services.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu concepts, taking into account nutritional balance, flavor profiles, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create menus that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and mentorship.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant hospitality field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
