Job Summary:

The Home Centre Manager is responsible for the operation of the Home & Building Solutions store located in The Pas, MB. This includes human resources, asset protection, customer service, administrative duties, and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the achievement of financial results in sales margins, inventory control, expenses, and profits within established timelines.
  • Participate in the creation of department goals as they relate to Corporate Performance Management (CPM).
  • Manage, maintain, and secure the store location and property while providing operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver solutions, and oversee and monitor client satisfaction levels.
  • Provide leadership to the team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.
  • Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing activity, inventory rotation, pricing accuracy, and cleanliness of the location.
  • Ensure standards are achieved while being responsible for coordination and oversight of all safety, maintenance, and asset protection policies.

Requirements:

  • Possess a post-secondary education (would be considered an asset).
  • Have 5+ years of retail management experience or related leadership experience.
  • Have previous leadership experience.
  • Be honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
