About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Event Mixologist to join our team at Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to our service standards
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu, including wine, spirits, and cocktails
  • Pour beverages in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Communicate beverage descriptions, specials, and information to guests and team members
  • Setup and take apart the bar area, dishwasher, and cappuccino machine
  • Stock and maintain all bar products, including mise en place
  • Check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels
  • Count and take inventory of all beverages and supplies, assisting the manager with inventory ordering
  • Be aware of any special requests, including guest allergies
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of serving and bartending experience in a similar environment
  • Smart Serve Certification is a requirement
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and sales ability
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of product knowledge, including wine, spirits, and cocktails
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
