Job Title: Physiotherapist

Evergreen Home for Special Care is a leading long term care facility in the Annapolis Valley, offering a unique opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to provide assessment, care planning, consultation, intervention, and follow-up services to our residents. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to improve, restore, and/or maintain residents' functional abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments and interventions for children and seniors
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve residents' goals
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain current certifications in CPR and adhere to relevant licensing body requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from a recognized School of Physiotherapy
  • Member in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
  • Demonstrated clinical experience providing Physiotherapy services to children and seniors
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills
